Rep. Kerry Benninghoff was honored to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony that officially opened the Spring Creek Canyon Cooperative Management Area.  For the first time in nearly a century, the public will have access to this land as a result of legislation Benninghoff and his colleagues ushered through the General Assembly.  Various groups with differing points of view were able to come together and develop a plan that benefits all local residents.  A Centre Daily Times article about the dedication ceremony is available here or a Penn State Daily Collegian article can be viewed by clicking here.

Rep. Benninghoff stopped to have his picture taken with a group of nurses from the Mifflin Juniata Career and Technology Center. The group toured the Capitol during a visit to Harrisburg.
