House Finance Committee to Hold Hearing About Property Tax Reform Proposal
WHAT: A House Finance Committee to learn more about House Bill 2230, a proposal to empower local constituents to approve through ballot measures different local taxes to fund schools in an effort to reduce or eliminate school property taxes.

WHO: House Finance Committee Chairman Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin); members of the House Finance Committee; House Bill 2230 prime sponsor Rep. Seth Grove (R-York); David Baldinger from the Pennsylvania Coalition of Taxpayer Associations; and representatives from the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors and the National Federation of Independent Businesses.
