State Funding Finally Released to Schools, Counties and Human Services Organizations, Benninghoff Says
HARRISBURG – Rep. Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) today announced that local school districts, counties and human services organizations should begin to receive their delayed state payments as early as today. Yesterday, the Pennsylvania Treasury completed sending out 16,400 in expedited payments totaling nearly $3.3 billion.

“I am relieved for our local schools and human services that Gov. Tom Wolf has finally agreed to get this desperately needed money flowing,” Benninghoff said.

According to the department, staff is also working to process an additional 35,000 payment requests. The Pennsylvania Treasury expects those will begin to be available at the end of this week. All delayed payments should be available within two weeks.

To obtain a status of outstanding invoices submitted to the Commonwealth, vendors can contact the Office of the Budget utilizing any of the following methods:

• Commonwealth vendors can check the status of invoices submitted for payment using the payment lookup function found on the Pennsylvania’s Office of the Budget website ( To utilize this service when on the website, select “Services for Vendors,” then select “Payment Lookup.”
• Commonwealth vendors can also inquire on the status of invoices submitted for payment by emailing the Commonwealth’s Payables Services Call Center at 
RA-PSCPAYMENTINQUIRE@PA.GOV or by calling toll free at 877-435-7363 or locally at 717-346-2676. The Payables Services Call Center is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST.

Six months of emergency funds for schools, counties and human services is being released after part of the $30.3 billion state budget approved by the legislature was signed by the governor.
