– Rep. Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) announced he will be hosting a free community shredding event on Saturday, June 11, from 8-11 a.m.
The event will be held at the Centre County Recycling & Refuse Authority, 253 Transfer Road, Bellefonte
“Paper shredding events like this are a great opportunity for members of our community to safely and securely get rid of sensitive papers that have piled up from spring and summer cleaning or those just looking to declutter,” Benninghoff said. “I look forward to each one of these events and seeing friends, neighbors and new faces.”
Event details: Please place items to be shredded in the trunk or truck bed of vehicle. Drivers will be directed to the unloading zone, where workers will remove items from a popped trunk or truck bed. Participants must stay in their vehicles. Paper Products ONLY. Materials should be transported in containers not needed to be returned. Centre County Recycling & Refuse Authority will be adhering to local, state and CDC COVID-19 mitigation requirements.
This is an event for residents only; no businesses, please. For questions, please call Benninghoff’s Bellefonte office at 814-355-3523.
