BELLEFONTE – In response to state and federal government orders to limit person-to-person interaction as much as possible, and to do his part to help quickly contain and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, Rep. Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) has temporarily suspended “walk-in” service at his district office locations.
The district offices, while closed to walk-in service, will remain open to meet the needs of the community. Beginning close of business today, Benninghoff and his staff will correspond with constituents via phone and email until further notice.
“Our goal is to continue to serve residents with the best customer service possible, while being responsible members of our community at large,” Benninghoff said. “My staff and I are working and stand ready to help. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this unprecedented time.”
This temporary measure is being taken to comply with the recommendations of state and federal officials and to protect the health and safety of local residents and office staff.
Community residents who need assistance with any state government-related matter are encouraged to visit www.KerryBenninghoff.com or contact Benninghoff’s district offices.
