Benninghoff Invites Residents to Energy Expo
HARRISBURG – State Rep. Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) is inviting residents of the 171st Legislative District to join him on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology (CPI) for an energy expo. Vendors representing local businesses and government agencies will be on hand to provide energy-saving tips to attendees.

“As we enter the colder months, now is an excellent time to make sure your home is energy efficient,” Benninghoff said. “If you want to save money on your energy bills, I hope to see you at the expo.”

The energy expo will begin at 6 p.m. and last until approximately 8:30 p.m. CPI is located at 540 N. Harrison Road in Bellefonte.

The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required and free parking will be available in the CPI parking lot.

“Whether it’s using energy-saving light bulbs to reduce electricity consumption or adding insulation to reduce home heating bills, there are steps people can take to save money,” Benninghoff said. “The products and services available to help consumers reduce their energy bills are constantly evolving. The energy expo is a one-stop shop to learn about all of these and ask the experts for advice. This can help save consumers money while also reducing their impact on our environment.”
